When a water tank becomes dilapidated there is a threat of structural failure. Australian Panel Tanks is able to ascertain structural integrity and make structural upgrades where required. Structural upgrades may include replacing tie-rods, strengthening and replacing wall panels, replacing or repairing stiffeners, trusses, roofs, connections and liners. Corroded surfaces are treated during a structural upgrade.
Upgrades are able to be engineer certified.
upgrades comply with Australian Standards.
The highest grade of materials are used.
Once any work is completed Australian Panel Tanks certifies that your tanks comply with the relevant codes and standards. We maintain a database on your tanks and notify you when they require an inspection or service. All reports are stored electronically and a hard copy is maintained and updated.
Corrosion occurs in metal tanks. Without cathodic protection sections of the tanks become a "sacrificial anadode" and will corrode. To control this Australian Panel Tanks will install an anode to be the sacrificial component of the tank.
Australian Panel Tanks anodes are magnesium. They are installed in domestic water, flusherette, fire hydrant and sprinkler, and industrial water tanks to eliminate corrosion.
Anodes are designed for the specific corrosion application.
The highest grade magnesium anodes are used. They comply with AS2239.
Australian Panel Tanks installs and monitors the anodes or they come with installation instructions.
Inspection and replacement programs will be specific to the installation.
